 ina Leah began her jewelry making career at the age of 10 during the '60's "mod" fashion craze. It began as a summer hobby, when she decided to hand paint beads with brightly colored flowers or geometric designs and hang them from gold or silver chain to create earrings. They were a huge success with her mother's friends at the beauty parlor on Saturdays!!!
 any years went by before Nina Leah revisited this interest. She admired (and
purchased!) a lot of art jewelry, always with the thought in mind that she
really should and could start making it herself. Finally in 1996,
she set out to start making her own art jewelry, never anticipating that her
work would be so well received. Each time she wore a piece she had designed and
made for herself, she received an abundance of compliments. It wasn't very long
before she began a small, home-based business, designing and creating art
jewelry for sale. Her designs are now available for purchase through private
showings and home shows in the Chicago area as well as at her own on-line ebay
store.

 s Nina Leah has a love for art glass as well as other media, she set out to
discover the best glass bead artists she could find whose work might contribute
to her designs. The result of her discoveries is a wonderful collection of art
jewelry made not only of the highest quality assortment of beads (including
semi-precious stone beads, crystal and Czech glass beads, vermeil and other
metal beads and findings), but many pieces that incorporate some of America's
finest, handmade, glass bead artist's work created from several different glass
working methods.
